A fire aboard the 150-foot fishing boat Cape San Vicente caused about $3,500 damage, the San Diego Fire Department reported.
The fire broke out Sunday morning in a storage area of the purse seiner and was blamed on combustible material, a fire department spokesman said.
The boat was docked at the 10th Avenue Terminal.
