Fullerton Woman Dies After Car Hits Truck
A 20-year-old Fullerton woman died Saturday after her car struck the back of a slowing tractor-trailer in Buena Park, police said.
Kris Ann Nix died at 12:52 a.m. at UCI Medical Center. Her passenger, a 20-year-old male, suffered only a strap bruise from the seat belt he was wearing, police said.
Police said the truck was slowing with the flow of traffic on Beach Boulevard just south of Orangethorpe Avenue and Nix apparently failed to stop. The truck driver was not injured.
