The Kings (5-10-2) scored 15 goals in their last two games, but they lost at Calgary last Friday night, 10-7, before beating Quebec in another shoot-out Saturday night at the Forum, 8-7.

The Islanders (12-4-1) lead the Patrick Division with the second-best record in the National Hockey League. They beat the Kings last month, 4-1.
