Top Score for American Airlines

American Airlines had the best on-time arrival record and Pacific Southwest had the worst in the latest monthly Transportation Department consumer report card issued today.

The department said in its October report that American, which also came out on top in September, was 86.1% on time among the nation’s 14 largest carriers. Next came Southwest Airlines at 85.2%, followed by Continental Airlines at 84.4%. Pacific Southwest was last with 60.3%.
