USC’s Student-Athletes Are Hard-Working Group

We are very fortunate to have an arena, such as Viewpoint, to air our comments. This is a very nice place to let off a little steam, work out some frustrations. But some individuals tend to take this opportunity a bit too far.

In response to the comments of Kenneth Young (Nov. 28) about the student-athletes at USC, did Mr. Young really know the young men he so maliciously attacked? Did he know them well enough to make an accurate estimation of their scholastic attendance habits?

As a fellow athlete and close friend of many of these student athletes, I am pleased to say that this group of guys works just as hard in the classroom as they do on the practice field. I am qualified to make this statement because I am in class with them.
