Body of Missing San Marcos Man Found 2 Miles From Home
The body of a disabled San Marcos man was found Saturday afternoon, two miles from his residence, San Diego County sheriff’s Sgt. Suzanne Hatcher said.
Rodney Gerald Pasley Jr., 32, reported missing since Dec. 1, was found under foliage by Sheriff’s Reserve Search and Rescue Unit and its Mountain Reserve Rescue Unit, about 1 1/2 miles north of Escondido Country Club Lane, in a rugged mountain area, Hatcher said.
A helicopter was used to retrieve the body, Hatcher said.
There was no signs of foul play. An investigation of cause of death is pending, deputy coroner Jerry Hillbrand said.
