Local News in Brief : Anaheim : Woman Dies After Being Struck by Car

An elderly woman died of injuries she suffered when she was hit by a car while crossing a street, authorities said Sunday.
Kimi Kawamura, 78, of Anaheim, died late Saturday at UCI Medical Center in the city of Orange, Anaheim police said.
Kawamura was struck at 5 p.m. on Friday while crossing Walnut Street, south of Lynne Avenue, police said. The motorist involved was not cited in the incident.
