Gov. George Deukmejian has announced the appointment of three new Los Angeles Superior Court judges, who will be sworn into the $81,505-a-year offices in mid-January.

Two are being elevated from lower courts--Margaret M. Grignon of Palmdale, who served on the Antelope Municipal Court for three years, and Gregory C. O’Brien Jr. of Glendora, who served on the Citrus Municipal Court for three years.

The third appointee is civil attorney William A. Masterson of San Marino, who opened the Los Angeles offices of two prestigious New York-based law firms, Rogers & Wells in 1979 and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in 1983.
