Three restaurant employees were injured when their co-worker wrestled a gun from a robber Friday.

Five employees of Stuart Anderson’s Black Angus restaurant on Brookhurst Street were leaving just after closing at 2:42 a.m. when two men armed with guns approached them and demanded money.

One worker disarmed one of the men, but the gun fired into the ground during the struggle. Fragments of the bullet struck two female employees in the thighs and a male worker in the foot. The fifth worker wasn’t injured.
