There were big doings at the Ninth Latin American Film Festival in Havana late last week, where “Wall Street” and “Platoon” director Oliver Stone announced he planned to shoot his next movie in Central America. But “Tierra para Rosa”--a Brazilian documentary on land distribution conflicts in southern Brazil--won the festival’s highest award, the Gran Coral, an elegant black coral sculpture.
