The driver of the second car, Doria Cosmo, 37, of Cardiff, and her passenger, Sharon Rhodes, 37, of Encinitas, were treated at local hospitals and released, police said.

A medical center spokeswoman said Monday that Reznick had been treated and released Saturday. Reznick was traveling north at a high rate of speed in the southbound lanes of Dale Street Saturday at about 11 a.m. when he failed to stop at a red light at Cerritos Avenue and collided with a car driven by Cosmo, police said. Reznick’s car flipped over the second car and rolled into the two bicyclists.
