A wheelchair-bound man bludgeoned to death in his El Monte apartment during an apparent robbery was identified Monday as Paul Deufrene.
Deufrene, 49, was found dead shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday on the living room floor of his apartment at 3815 Baldwin Ave., Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
