Speaking of the Bard of Avon, a San Antonio business professor has incorporated readings of Shakespeare in a management course at the University of Texas/San Antonio. “Shakespeare was probably one of the greatest students of the human psyche. You see in Shakespeare almost any character, any type you can conceive of,” John Holmgreen said. Reading his works can provide students a better understanding of human nature, Holmgreen said, and allow them to see better and more effective ways of motivating employees.
