Local News in Brief : Superintendent to Return
The Lennox Elementary School District has rehired Kenneth L. Moffett as its superintendent 15 months after Moffett left to head the Cerritos-based ABC Unified School District.
Moffett, 52, resigned the ABC post, effective March 25, after the November election of a new board majority critical of his management of the 26,000-student district. He served for 10 years in Lennox, an unincorporated community south of Inglewood with about 5,000 predominantly Latino students.
