Lakers Looking for Better Result in Utah

Share

The Lakers put their seven-game winning streak on the line this afternoon in their first meeting this season against the Utah Jazz, one of only four teams to beat the Lakers twice last season.

The Jazz won two of three meetings against the Lakers in the Salt Palace. The Lakers shot just 45.5% from the floor in five games against Utah. Jazz forward Karl Malone averaged 26.5 points a game against the Lakers, the best average of any Western Conference opponent.

The game will be televised by Channel 9 at 1 p.m.
