Jason Mizell, a member of the Run-D.M.C. rap trio, was released from a New York hospital Tuesday after recovering from injuries sustained in a car accident over the weekend. A spokesman for St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center, said Mizell suffered a light concussion and other minor injuries in the accident. According to a police account, the Jeep Mizell was driving was hit head-on by a Cadillac traveling on the wrong side of the street. Police cited the driver of the other car.
