The cast and crew of ABC's "War and Remembrance," the longest mini-series in history (based on the Herman Wouk sequel to "Winds of War"), celebrated Friday night with what arguably was billed as the "largest wrap party in history" aboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach. Some 650 guests--including mini-series stars Robert Mitchum (Pug Henry) and Hart Bochner (Byron Henry), co-star Barry Bostwick and director Dan Curtis--dined and danced in the balloon-filled ballroom. During his brief remarks, Curtis admonished the crowd to "have a really good time and drink a lot --it's a very large budget and we have to use it all up." The maxi-series, scheduled to air this November or in February, 1989, will run about 30 hours.
