Man Fatally Stabbed

A man was found stabbed to death Sunday on a sidewalk in the unincorporated county area of Rowland Heights, sheriff’s deputies said.
A passer-by discovered the body of Jay Schnabl, 21, of Rowland Heights, near 1947 Sierra Leone Ave., shortly after 6:30 a.m., Deputy Dan Cox said. Schnabl had been stabbed several times in his upper torso, Cox said. Investigators were trying to determine when the man died.
