IPSWICH, England — Manchester United edged Ipswich Town, 2-1, Sunday to reach the fourth round of the English League F.A. Cup soccer competition.
United, of the First Division, ousted one of the Second Division’s top teams, clinching the victory in the 66th minute on a header by Viv Anderson.
