Seven Rohnert Park students suffering reactions from what officials called an “unsually potent form of LSD” were treated at area hospitals, it was reported. Public safety officials in the Sonoma County community said the problem first came to light when El Camino High School officials called them to report one student was “acting bizarre,” Lt. Robert Williams of the Rohnert Park Public Safety Department said. When they arrived, they found the student acting paranoid and another with similar reactions. They took both students to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Williams said, and later located five more students with problems, one of whom had to be restrained by police. They were treated at other local hospitals. The illegal drug was located in a parked car at the high school, Williams said, adding that the source of the supply is under investigation.
