Thieves took the heads from two corpses in Oakland’s oldest cemetery, according to baffled police investigators. The vaults were broken into Tuesday or Wednesday at the Mountain View Cemetery, where security guards are on duty around the clock. The remains that were disturbed were those of women--one who died a year ago Wednesday. The other woman died in 1941, police said. Police Officer Bob Sirvain said that whoever was responsible for the thefts is a “very sick person.”
