Norman Kean, producer of the Broadway show “Oh! Calcutta!,” a nude musical revue about sex, fatally stabbed his wife and then jumped to his death from the roof of their apartment building Friday, New York City police said. A doorman found Kean’s body about 3 p.m. in the rear courtyard of the Upper West Side building where he lived. Kean’s son came home about four hours later and found his mother, Gwyda, 53, lying in her nightclothes stabbed to death in their second-floor apartment. Police said Kean, 54, who left a note, apparently stabbed his wife several times, then went to the roof of the 15-story building and jumped. Kean had produced “Oh! Calcutta!” since it opened on Broadway in 1976.
