Reed Royalty has been named area vice president for Pacific Bell, with overall administrative responsibility for the company in Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Inyo counties. He succeeds Dave Carroll, who recently retired. Previously, Royalty was with PacTel Cellular, Irvine, where he had been vice president of external affairs since the company’s creation in 1983. Before that, he was Pacific Bell’s director of governmental relations in Sacramento.
