Ballots for the 60th Academy Awards--scheduled April 11 at the Shrine Auditorium-- will be mailed today to the 4,400 members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Academy President Robert E. Wise said Thursday. Voting in all categories will conclude Feb. 5 and nominations for the Academy Awards will be made Feb. 17. Ballots will be sent according to the branch of Academy membership, meaning actors will vote in the four acting categories, musicians will vote in music categories and writers will vote in screenplay categories. All members of the Academy are eligible to vote for best picture and may vote for the final awards in all categories.
