Donald R. Dicus has been named vice president/medical affairs for Western Medical Centers, and associate director of Western Medical Center/Santa Ana. As vice president, Dicus assists in making medical decisions for the corporation’s three major hospitals: Santa Ana, Anaheim and Bartlett. He also acts as a special liaison among hospital administrators, medical staff, boards of directors and patients at each facility. Dicus began his 23-year career with the company in 1965, when he became a staff urologist at Santa Ana Community Hospital, the original site of Western Medical Center/Santa Ana. Most recently, he was Diagnostic Related Group coordinator for the Santa Ana facility, while continuing his medical practice.
