Mission Viejo’s Pease Says He’ll Attend USC

Jeff Pease, a Mission Viejo High School linebacker, said he has orally committed to attend USC next season.
Pease, the South Coast League defensive player of the year in 1987, also had considered UCLA, Arizona State and Colorado, but he said his decision came down to “a gut feeling.”
“I’ve always to wanted to play there since my boyhood,” he said.
Pease, who is 6-feet 3-inches tall and weighs 240 pounds, was a two-time all-league selection.
