200 China Cities Told to Watch Water Use

BEIJING — The government has ordered 200 Chinese cities to conserve water, the overseas edition of the People’s Daily reported Friday.
“All these cities have reported water shortages,” the report said. “Enterprises and individuals have to be more careful in their use of water resources.”
