Sherman Hemsley and Marla Gibbs will reunite for the first time since “The Jeffersons” went off the air in 1985 in an upcoming segment of “227,” an NBC comedy in which which Gibbs now stars. Hemsley, who stars in his own NBC’s sitcom, “Amen,” will play a businessman who rams heads with Gibb’s character after mistaking her for a maid. For those who missed “The Jeffersons” during its 10-year run on CBS, Gibbs played Hemsley’s sassy housekeeper in the series. The installment will shoot Tuesday for airing later in the season.
