Local News in Brief : Mission Viejo : Drunk Driving Charged in Motorcycle-Car Crash

A 34-year-old motorcyclist was listed in fair condition Monday with a broken leg suffered last weekend when he collided with a car driven by a suspected drunk driver, officials said.
Steven Michael Wagner of Mission Viejo was injured shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday as he was traveling southbound on Marguerite Parkway when the driver pulled away from a stop sign at Aldeano Drive and hit the victim while attempting a left turn, said Ken Daily, a California Highway Patrol spokesman.
Clarence Ralph Rutherford, 54, of Mission Viejo, who was not injured, was arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving, Daily said.
Wagner was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, Daily said.
