Costa Mesa Police Lt. Leslie Harrison said the injured motorcycle rider is under investigation for felony drunk driving.

Witnesses told police investigators that the driver of the car was westbound on Baker Street when he stopped to make a left turn at Milbro Street. Eduardo Garcia Castro drove his motorcycle into the front of car as it completed the turn, Harrison said.

Neither of the motorcyclists was wearing a helmet, Harrison said, adding that the driver of the car was not cited.
