Denver Nuggets forward Calvin Natt has been charged with solicitation for prostitution after responding to an ad for an escort service placed by undercover police officers, police in Aurora, Colo., said.
Natt was one of about 60 people arrested in a police “sting” operation.
Natt, 31, was arrested Jan. 15, Aurora police spokeswoman Mary Schumacher confirmed.
An injured left knee has kept Natt out of 22 of Denver’s 40 games this season.
Schumacher said that the 12-day sting operation used an undercover in-call and out-call escort service. Callers answering advertisements placed in Denver newspapers were invited to an apartment, where arrests were made on the spot when prospective customers solicited undercover officers for sex.
