Nevada Las Vegas 87, Fresno State 71--Gerald Paddio made seven three-pointers and finished with 25 points as the No. 4-ranked Runnin’ Rebels won at Las Vegas.
Paddio, matching his season-high for three-pointers, helped UNLV improve to 18-1 overall and 7-1 in the PCAA. The Bulldogs, led by Jervis Cole with 24 points, fell to 4-13 and 0-8.
UNLV set a PCAA record with 16 three-point shots, one shy of the NCAA record set last year by Oklahoma.
UC Santa Barbara 66, New Mexico State 63--Despite seven three-pointers by Jeff McCool of New Mexico State, the Gauchos defeated the Aggies in a PCAA game at Santa Barbara.
Santa Barbara (14-3, 6-2) never trailed after taking a 51-50 led midway through the second half.
McCool finished with 22 points for the Aggies (12-9, 4-4), while Brian Johnson led the Gauchos with 17 points.
