BALTIMORE — Keith Furphy scored three goals to lead the Baltimore Blast to a 6-3 victory over the Los Angeles Lazers in a Major Indoor Soccer League game Friday night.
Furphy’s hat trick was his second of the season, both coming against Los Angeles (12-13). Baltimore defender Vernon Skinner had a goal and an assist, the first multi-point game of his two-year MISL career.
Goals by Furphy in the first and third periods gave Baltimore (13-14) a 2-0 lead before the Lazers’ Mike Windischmann scored the first of his two goals with 3:01 left in the third period.
