A San Jose personal appearance by “Wheel of Fortune’s” letter-turner Vanna White drew more than 2,500 people to a neighborhood video store. Hundreds of Vanna White’s fans shelled out $15 at the store for White’s new exercise video, “Get Slim--Stay Slim.” Only buyers of the tape could wander upstairs and have White personally autograph a picture. White herself said little but smiled often and posed for a photograph with 27-year-old Torre Froehlich of Milpitas, who won a trip to Lorimar Studios in Los Angeles, a $100 clothing certificate and a camera for winning a Vanna look-alike contest.
