Local News in Brief : Newport Beach : Rodheim Named Head of Boating Commission

Newport Beach businessman Ralph Rodheim has been named chairman of the California Boating and Waterways Commission, an advisory group to the state Department of Boating and Waterways. A seven-year veteran member of the commission, Rodheim is an active member of the Corinthian Yacht club and the founder and president of a Newport Beach marketing and public relations firm.

“Meeting the needs of California’s recreational boaters is our primary aim,” said the newly appointed chairman. “The commission has a history of effective leadership, and I hope to continue that tradition.”
