Richard Crenna will reprise his role as New York City detective Frank Janek in CBS’ “Internal Affairs,” a sequel to the movie “Doubletake.” The new four-hour production has him investigating the murder of a prostitute. Also starring are Kate Capshaw, Cliff Gorman and Philip Bosco.

You can’t call it a reunion, exactly, since they play the same character, but Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno have re-teamed for “The Incredible Hulk Returns,” a TV movie for NBC. Bixby also is directing and co-producing the movie, which is due for broadcast in May. He plays the normally mild-mannered David Banner; when Banner gets angry and turns into the Hulk, Ferrigno takes over.

The merging of interests: “Entertainment Tonight” is featuring segments with pop star Michael Jackson on its Monday and Tuesday shows this week, which certainly helps the TV show during this month of ratings sweeps and also helps to kick off Jackson’s U.S. tour Wednesday. “Entertainment Tonight” will be backstage in Kansas City covering that too.

If you didn’t make it to the Ahmanson Theatre to see the recent production of Robert Anderson’s “I Never Sang for My Father,” don’t despair. It’s being done for public television’s “American Playhouse” series--with the Ahmanson cast: Daniel J. Travanti, Harold Gould, Dorothy McGuire and Margo Skinner. The production, from KCET Channel 28 and Brandman Productions, is scheduled for broadcast June 15.
