Local News in Brief : Fountain Valley : Police Identifiy Driver Killed in Fiery Crash
A motorist killed Sunday when his sports car went out of control, overturned and and burst into flames was identified Monday as Arnulfo R. Diaz, 19, of Anaheim, authorities said.
A passenger in his car, April Humsicker, 24, of Santa Ana, who was able to extricate herself from the wrecked car before it burst into flames, was treated for minor injuries at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and released, Fountain Valley police said.
Diaz was westbound on Warner Avenue near Euclid Street at 6:20 p.m. Sunday when he lost control of his car for unknown reasons, police said.
