Yesterday, half-price Arts TIX; today, half-price Hotel TIX. The Hotel TIX program, inaugurated last week by the San Diego Theatre League and the Horton Grand Hotel, is designed to appeal to theater patrons, particularly those from North and East counties, who don’t feel up to driving home after a show. When a theater ticket is bought at the League’s Arts TIX Center, whether for full price or, on the day of the show, half-price, rooms fetching $119 a night at the Horton Grand can be rented for only $59.50.
