Pasadena : Rose Bowl Curbs Proposed
A city task force seeking ways to control the use of the Rose Bowl has recommended limiting the number of events at the 100,000-seat bowl to 12 each year. The Rose Bowl currently hosts an average of 10 events a year.
The Arroyo Seco Task Force, which presented its recommendations to the Board of Directors on Monday after 18 months of study, also recommended restricting noisy activities at the bowl to between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and requiring that all trash from events be removed within 24 hours.
The board is scheduled to make a final decision on the recommendations March 28.
