Culver City BPW Picks Thor Woman of Year

The Culver City Business and Professional Women’s organization has chosen Linda Thor, president of West Los Angeles College, as Woman of the Year.
Thor, 38, is the youngest community college president in the state. Her community participation includes membership in the city Chamber of Commerce board of directors, the Brotman Medical Center Community Advisory Board to the Chemical Dependency Treatment Center, and the city education committee.
