Quarterback Danny White of the Dallas Cowboys, more bothered by off-the-field criticism than his lingering wrist injury, says he is thinking of retiring after 12 NFL seasons.
“The wrist is fine,” White, 36, said at a football clinic in Tempe, Ariz. “It’s not a physical question. It’s more a psychological question. It’s just a kind of beating you take off the field. That, for me, is something I’ve grown kind of tired of.”
