Washington Redskins’ fans who are still glowing about their heroes’ Super Bowl rout of the Denver Broncos a few weeks ago will undoubtedly savor this compilation of game clips and interviews highlighting the team’s 18-game season. This hastily assembled 50-minute program is crammed with insights and revelations, but is also inflated with the kind of puffery that appeals to hometown fans. If you’re not a Skins fan, you’ll find this aspect of the tape rather boring. Unfortunately, the most fascinating thing about the team’s season--the quarterback duel between Doug Williams and Jay Schroeder--is glossed over. Too controversial, perhaps?
