Hospices for AIDS Patients
So the people on Ogden Drive in Hollywood don’t want the trappings of an AIDS hospice (ambulances, coroner’s wagon) on their street? Perhaps if they each spent just one hour a day getting to know and helping an AIDS patient, they might begin to adjust their values and priorities.
AIDS is a problem that will be here for a long time. Sooner or later everyone is going to be touched by it. It’s up to all of us to give just a little in a hundred different ways in order to educate and thus prevent, and to provide comfort, care and concern for those already dying.
