Mike Bullard scored two power-play goals as the Calgary Flames defeated the Edmonton Oilers, 7-4, in a fight-marred game Saturday night at Calgary.

Bullard’s first goal, his 39th of the season, at 3:50 of the second period gave the Flames a 4-1 lead. His second, at 9:28 of the third period, increased Calgary’s lead to 6-3.

The victory moved Calgary three points ahead of Edmonton in the Smythe Division race.

Calgary’s Brad McCrimmon scored a short-handed goal with 17 seconds remaining, and that triggered the last of a series of fights, and several fans through debris at the Oilers’ bench.
