Immigration officials will be on hand at Carson’s Cultural Fair from March 11 through 13 to provide information about gaining legal residency under federal immigration law.
The special amnesty program that has made legal thousands of undocumented aliens since last year is due to expire May 4. Amnesty is being offered to those who came to the United States before Jan. 1, 1982.
The fair, which will be held at the Carson Mall, opens at 6:30 p.m. Friday and continues from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
