Auto Service Center to Rise on Parking Lot

A former parking lot in Van Nuys will be transformed into automobile service bays as the result of a 30-year lease agreement, valued at $2.6 million, negotiated by Grubb & Ellis Commercial Brokerage Services.
The 15,000-square-foot project at 14524 Keswick St. will be developed by Hayden Hamilton, who leased the property from a private landowner. Beitler Commercial Brokerage represented Hamilton.
Construction plans call for about 15 units, leased to individual firms and designed to provide a variety of services relating to automobile maintenance. The units will be housed within a concrete-block structure to be built on a site one block west of Van Nuys Boulevard.
