Postal Service Buys 26 Acres
The U. S. Postal Service has paid $8,013,577 for 26 acres in City of Industry where it plans to build a 462,000-square-foot regional distribution facility to serve the entire San Gabriel Valley.
R. A. Rowan & Co., Pasadena, represented the postal service in the transaction, while the Seeley Co. represented Challenge-Cook, sellers of the site at 15421 E. Gale Ave.
The postal facility, expected to cost $61 million, will be called the Alhambra General Mail Complex.
