The bidding war for the film rights to the hit Broadway play “Les Liaisons Dangereuses” is over: director Milos Forman (who made “Amadeus” and “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”) begins filming “Valmont” in and around Paris in July. The film is a $20-million production based on the novel by Choderlos de Laclos, on which the play was based and from which the Broadway play took its title.
