Local News in Brief : Maid Skips Court Date
An arrest warrant has been issued for Ana Rubida Guevara, the maid accused of stealing more than $40,000 in clothing, jewelry and household trinkets from a Glendale family.
Pasadena Superior Court Judge Harold Shabo issued the warrant after Guevara, 35, failed to show up for her arraignment.
Guevara is charged with three counts of grand theft and one count of residential burglary in the thefts from the home of a deputy district attorney where she was employed.
