Fullerton : Reopening Set Saturday for Renovated Museum
The city’s Museum Center, closed for more than two years for renovation, reopens Saturday with special exhibits of three-dimensional laser art and antique embroidery, city officials said.
The gallery area has been enlarged and new office and work space added, museum spokeswoman Sylvia Palmer said.
The $70,000 project included a new climate-control system that will allow the museum to attract a wider variety of exhibitions, she said. A Smithsonian Institution exhibit on the Shaker community is scheduled for May.
